The large ore collection contains 40 of the most important basic materials for the production of pure metals and alloys. They are the most common iron and steel refiner ores as well as Cu-, Pb-, Zn-, Al- ores, additionally As-, Co-, Mo-, Ti-, Va- and Sn- ores as well as alkali and alkaline earth ores.
Rich specimens in typical formation throughout. Each collection comes with an explanatory booklet giving chemical composition, worldwide occurrences and applications.
The hand pieces are numbered and have labels giving the exact name as well as the age and place of discovery. They are supplied in 'system-bloc' collection boxes.
