Araucarioxylon arizonicumA unique and enchanting piece at first sight!Nature has accomplished an amazing piece of work here. Coloring and preservation are exceptionally good. The wood and bark structure are still very well recognizable, although this specimen is already 200 million years old.The slab comes from the "Petrified Forest National Park", about 180 kilometers east of Flagstaff in Arizona. It is difficult to get pieces from there, as the protection of this impressive area is gradually being extended.
