Typical rocks from all geological formations reveal the evolutionary history of our planet.
They document periods of increased volcanic or tectonic activity, extensive marine
areas or large landmasses, climatic changes, and how life spread across the Earth.
Each specimen is labeled with its exact name, age, and locality. A system-bloc film
is placed over the respective label to prevent scratching. The rocks are numbered to
allow for easy re-identification in case a specimen is misplaced.
