This collection showcases 30 of the most important rocks-forming minerals,
as described in standard works on petrography.
Making it an indispensable resource for introductory petrography courses.

Contents: Quartz, 2 feldspars, 2 feldspar representatives, 2 representatives of
the sodalite group, 4 pyroxenes, 4 amphiboles, olivine, 4 micas, kaolin, 3 carbonates,
6 minor constituents (including heavy minerals). 

All specimens are labeled with information including their exact names, age, and localities.
These labels are protected from dirt and scratches by System-bloc film. Every mineral is
numbered so that they can be easily re-identified if one is removed from the collection.

A detailed list of contents is included with every collection.

Our collections are handcrafted at our facility in Bonn.
