This collection presents 30 of the most important minerals involved in rock formation,
as described in standard works on petrography.
It is therefore an indispensable resource for introductory petrography courses.

Contents: Quartz, 2 feldspars, 2 feldspar-like minerals, 2 minerals from the sodalite
group, 4 pyroxenes, 4 amphiboles, olivine, 4 micas, kaolin, 3 carbonates, 6 minor
components (including heavy minerals)

The specimens are labeled with precise descriptions, as well as their age and locality.
A System-bloc film protects the label to prevent dirt or scratches. The minerals are
numbered so they can be easily reassigned if one is removed.
Delivered in System-bloc collection boxes, which are in turn arranged in order inside
a wooden case with hinged lid.
A detailed list of contents is included with each collection.

Our collections are handcrafted at our facility in Bonn.
Please note that rocks are natural products and no two pieces ever
look exactly alike.
