Customizable air scribe system for fine and ultra-fine preparation!
Compile your own personal tool for fossil preparation according to your individual
requirements. The expandable set consists of
- a ‘tail section’ (the housing) and
- a head part/socket featuring the needle tip size of your choice.
Alternatively, you can choose between a regular diameter housing or the narrower
slim version (W9100). Now you're good to go!
Individual elements can be combined and interchanged.
Needle tips can be resharpened and withstand the pressure of preparation.
This pneumatic pen works from 2 to approx. 6 bar.
For finer tips, it is recommended to work with a maximum of 3 bar.
When working, compressed air is softly ejected forwards from the scribe, providing a
clean working area. The preparation tool is connected to a compressor with an adjustable
operating pressure of 3-7 bar, e.g. our silent compressor will do the job (product no. W108).
Appropriate protective eyewear is recommended when working with preparation tools!
