Our collections are divided into igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rocks and within these groups are organized according to modern systematics.This collection includes, for example: Granites, syenites, plagioclase, mafites, rhyolites, trachytes, basalts, selbergites, tephrites, psephites, psammites, pelites, chemical and organic rocks such as dolomite, anhydrite and limestones, as well as metamorphic rocks likemarble, gneiss and mica schist.The hand specimens are labeled with the exact name, age and locality. A film is placed over each label to prevent scratching. The stones are numbered so that they can be easily identified if one is ever misplaced.The rocks are supplied in system-bloc collection boxes, which are arranged in sequence in a wooden box.
