They are numbered and have adhesive labels indicating the exact name as well as the age and locality of discovery. They are supplied in a slotted thin section case. A detailed contents list with locality and exact name is included with each collection, there are thin sections of stones included, like:Conglomerates and breccias – Psephites (f.e. Quartz conglomerate, Breccia), Sandstones – Psammites (f.e. Sea sand, Sandstone, Quartzite), Silt & Clay Rocks – Pelites (f.e. Clay, Oil Slate, Loess), Carbonate Rocks (f.e. limestones, Chalk), Sedimentary Rocks of special depositional environments (f.e. A protective film covers each label to prevent scratching. All of the rocks are numbered so they can be easily re-identified if one is misplaced.The rocks in this collection are delivered in system-bloc collection boxes, which are arranged in a wooden crate.A detailed list of contents is included with each collection.The photo serves as an example; you will receive a collection of equivalent quality.This collection is handcrafted at Krantz in Bonn.
