20 rock specimensSpecimen size: 20x20 mmsupplied in a compartmentalized plastic case This collection was created to illustrate basic petrographic concepts.  It features twenty typical examples of igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic rocks. Distributing several collections among the students creates ideal conditions for engaging petrography lessons. The specimens are numbered according to an explanatory list of contents.Our collections are handcrafted at Dr. F. Krantz in Bonn. Please note that rocks are natural products and no two specimens are ever exactly alike.Colors in product photos may vary slightly from those of the actual specimen due to technical reasons.
