Size of thin section: 28 x 48 mm

The slides are 28 x 48 mm in size and fitted with cover glasses. They are numbered and provided with adhesive labels, which give the exact description as well as the age and the place of discovery. They are delivered in a grooved thin-section case.

A detailed contents list with locality and exact name is included with each collection, there are thin sections of stones included, like:
Felsic constituents of rocks (f.e. Quartz, Feldspars, Sodalites),
Mafic constituents of rocks (f.e. Pyroxenes, Amphiboles, like Aktinolite, Olivines, Micas),
