This gastropod integrates external material into its shell, presumably for camouflage or maybe to increase the available surface area of their shell, which makes sinking into muddy soils more difficult.
Attaching these objects is very time-consuming and can take up to ten hours, during which the animals have to remain motionless.
You will receive one specimen of this fossil, the colors in pictures may differ slightly from the original specimen due to technical reasons.
