The hand pieces are numbered and provided with labels indicating the exact name, age and locality. A film is placed over the labels to prevent scratching. Each item is numbered so they can be identified again if they are misplaced.
Arranged according to chemical composition with specimens for all groups of the systematics, this collection is the indispensable basis for mineralogically oriented teaching. The minerals are supplied in 'system-bloc' collectors' boxes.
