20 rock specimenssample size: 60 x 90 mmsorted in System-bloc collection boxes, including a wooden caseOur range includes many types of didactic collections suitable asreference material for petrographic courses across all educational levels.This collection is divided into igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic rocks, which are arranged within these groups according to modern taxonomy. It includes, for example, the following rocks:granites, syenites, plagioclases, mafic rocks, rhyolites, trachytes, basalts, selbergites,tephrites, psephites, psammites, pelites, chemical and organic rocks,such as dolomite, anhydrite, and limestones. It also includes metamorphic rockssuch as marble, gneiss, and mica schist.Each specimen is labeled with its exact name, age, and locality. A System-bloc film is placed over each label to prevent scratches or staining.The rocks are numbered so they can be easily re-identified if one is removed or misplaced.The specimens of this collection are delivered in System-bloc collection boxes, which are arranged in order inside a wooden case. A detailed list of contents is included with each collection.Our collections are all handcrafted at our premises in Bonn.Please note that rocks are natural products and no two pieces ever look exactly alike.Due to technical limitations, colors in product photos may vary slightly from those of the original piece.Our images serve as a reference; when you purchase a collection, you will receive one of equivalent quality.

They are numbered and provided with adhesive labels, which give the exact description as well as the age and the place of discovery. They are delivered in a grooved thin-section case.
