It also includes metamorphic rockssuch as marble, gneiss, and mica schist.Each specimen is labeled with its exact name, age, and locality. A System-bloc film is placed over each label to prevent scratches or staining.The rocks are numbered so they can be easily re-identified if one is removed or misplaced.The specimens of this collection are delivered in System-bloc collection boxes, which are arranged in order inside a wooden case.
