A variety of gemstones and precious stones can be inspected simultaneously using
a UV analysis lamp. Many stones, imitations, or synthetics fluoresce under the light of
ultraviolet lamps. Individual characteristic colors or color changes at different wavelengths
make them distinguishable from one another.
Here's a UV analysis lamp with short and long waves for fluorescence tests
(254 nm + 365 nm - 1 x 8 watts each). It has a lit on/off switch for each wavelength.
Both can be used separately or at the same time.
