By irradiating them with a UV analysis lamp, a large number of precious and semi-
precious stones can be examined simultaneously. Many stones, imitations, or synthetics
fluoresce under UV light.
Individual characteristic coloration or color changes at different wavelengths make
stones distinguishable from one another.
This analysis lamp offers a short-wave (254 nm) and a long-wave UV lamp (365 nm),
each with 1 x 6W for fluorescence testing. One on/off switch per wavelength.
The two wavelengths can be used separately or simultaneously.
