Starbond Glue EM2000 is a relatively thick, crystal-clear cyanoacrylate adhesive with
a viscosity similar to that of honey.
Thanks to this, the product penetrates cracks starting at a width of approx. 0.5 mm
(under ideal conditions, even as little as 0.25 mm) and can bridge gaps with a maximum
width of approx. 5 mm.
Depending on material, temperature, and pretreatment, its pot life is significantly
longer than 1 minute. Due to the intentionally long curing time, Starbond Glue EM2000
is ideally suitable for precise bonding, modeling, and repair. In combination with
Starbond “Accelerator,” it is therefore apt for a wide range of demanding applications.
1K-adhesives cure spontaneously under atmospheric conditions, utilizing residual moisture
present on bonding surfaces and the surrounding environment. Hence, they are often
referred to as “superglue”.

Notes:
The polymerization reaction of cyanoacrylate adhesives generates significant
heat. While sufficient heat dissipation is always ensured when bonding large-surface-
area workpieces, spilled adhesive on flammable materials can cause spontaneous
combustion. A few drops on a cotton shirt are not enough to cause this, but
you should always exercise great caution when handling CA glues.
- Ensure that the work area is well ventilated
- Wear gloves and safety goggles
- Do not inhale the fumes!
