Product information "Rewoquat (1l-bottle)"
This special surfactant is used for chemically preparing fossils and Rewoquat is particularly
well suited for gently removing fossils from soft, marly, and sedimentary rock.
The more calcium carbonate the matrix contains, the more difficult it is to prepare
with Rewoquat.
Application:
You can immerse the fossil in pure Rewoquat or apply it selectively. Soak the piece
for a longer period of time. When rinsing afterwards, the soft rock matrix
(such as marl) will dissolve.
Well suited for use with foraminifera, brachiopods, and many more.
You can also clean Solnhofen limestone with Rewoquat without damaging the fossil itself:
simply coat it and then rinse with warm water.
The process can be repeated until the rock has dissolved and no more foam is forming.

Caution:
Wear safety goggles and protective gloves when using.
Avoid smoking and open flames; Rewoquat is flammable.
Dispose of the product in a highly diluted form or as hazardous waste in accordance
with local regulations.
