Product information "Majungasaurus crenatissimus, Cretaceous, MDG"
Rare, relatively well-preserved Majungasaurus tooth. No signs of restoration or repair. Particularly well preserved are the tooth's characteristic, clearly visible serrations along both the anterior and posterior cutting edges, a typical feature of predatory theropod dinosaurs.
The tooth is supplied in a display box with protective foam padding and a detailed identification label.
Teeth in this coloration are rather unusual for Majungasaurs, so this presents a rare opportunity.
Original tooth of the carnivorous dinosaur Majungasaurus, an impressive fossil discovery from Madagascar dating to approximately 70 million years ago. This attractive specimen displays excellent preservation, including well-defined serrations (fine saw-like denticles) along the cutting edges. These serrations helped the predator efficiently slice and tear flesh. Its natural preservation and distinctive shape make this fossil a highly desirable collector's item and a fascinating relic from the age of dinosaurs.
