Loctite UV-Glue (50g bottle)

Product information "Loctite UV-Glue (50g bottle)"

Modified acrylic resins ensure that this adhesive cures transparently in a very short
time (5-30 seconds) when exposed to UV radiation with a wavelength of 365 nm.

Due to its fast processing time, favorable refractive index (n = 1.53) and extreme
adhesiveness, this glue is the first choice for the production of thin sections.
As this is a single-component material, there is no need for the usual pre-mixing.
Thanks to the convenient dispensing bottle, the glue can be applied very sparingly.
Spread over the individual section, gluing costs amount to just a few cents.

Application instructions:
After drying, adhere the prepared surface of the sample to the slide with its roughed
side facing down. To prevent detachment and air bubbles, weigh your sample down
with a weight.  Do not use too much glue and do not apply too much pressure to avoid
breaking the sample.
For optimum adhesion, surfaces should be thoroughly cleaned and degreased before
applying adhesive.

Storage
Unless otherwise specified, UV adhesive should ideally be stored in a cool, dry place
at temperatures between 8 °C and 21 °C.
Optimal storage is in the lower half of this temperature range.

Shelf life: approx. 1/2 year
