About the Author:
Frank Rudolph, born in 1963, studied zoology and paleontology at the University of Kiel.
In 1994, he earned his doctorate with a dissertation on “Middle Cambrian trilobites in
riverbed deposits.” Today, he volunteers at the Natural History Museum in Flensburg.
Since 1992, he has worked as a geoscience mail-order bookseller and as the
editor of *Geschiebesammler*.
