Pterodactylus spectabilis MEYER

Small pterosaur skeleton (positive and negative impression) with outstretched limbs. It was embedded in fine, thin-layered limestone and was found when the slabs were split apart.

The widespread pterodactyls and bird-like, toothed skull are clearly recognizable.

Age: Upper Jurassic;
Locality: Solnhofen, Bavaria, Germany
Size: 25 x 15 cm

The casts are made in-house from casting wood and colored by hand.
For this reason, the colors in the photos may differ slightly from those of the original piece supplied.
