With irradiation by a UV analysis lamp, a variety of gemstones and precious stones can be examined simultaneously. Many gemstones, imitations or syntheses fluoresce under the light of ultraviolet lamps. Individual characteristic colours or colour changes at different wavelengths thus make stones distinguishable from each other.
A short and long wavelength UV lamp for fluorescence testing (254 nm + 365 nm - 1 x 4 watts each). One illuminated on/off switch per wavelength. The two wavelengths can be used separately or simultaneously.

Short wave (255nm) and medium wave (310nm) UV lamps are NOT suitable for children! Do not point the light beam directly at your skin, exposure can damage skin tissue. Never point the UV light beam at other living persons or animals!
