Product information "Pallasite (~ 1.3 cm), Sericho, in box"

Locality: Sericho/Habaswein, Isiolo County, Kenya
Size: approx. 1.3 cm

The Sericho stony-iron meteorite from eastern Kenya is very popular among collectors.
This rare pallasite was found in 2016 in a vast strewnfield in Isiolo county, but has been
locally known for generations.

With our newly designed meteorite collection, we present a beautiful selection of samples
that reflect the diversity of this unusual material. They are particularly suitable for building
a small representative “space collection,” but also make an excellent gift.
The series features twelve samples, which can also be purchased individually.
Each individual sample is housed in a collector's box with a white foam inlay.
The lid can be lifted and locked in place for a better view of the piece.

Box size: 55 x 35 mm (without lid)

The front features a photo of a typical representative of this site and the actual piece
visible through a viewing window (Ø approx. 2 cm).
A description in German and English is included.

Please note: Iron meteorites also contain a certain amount of nickel.
People with nickel allergies should avoid direct skin contact or wear rubber gloves
when handling.

The space collection is available at a special price of €150
(instead of €205 individually) here.
