Product information "Mosasaur-tooth"

This Mosasaur tooth is sold in a black or white Jousi box.
A musthave for every dinosaur fan.

Age: Creatceous
Region of discovery: Morocco
Size: approx. 2 - 3 cm

Mosasaurs were giant marine reptiles that dominated the cretaceous seas as apex predators, knocking Ichtyosaurs and Plesiosaurs from that position. Despite being closely related to snakes and lizards, they had stiffer but stronger jaws lined with many massive teeth. The phosphate deposits of the Ouled-Abdoun-Basin preserve these well.

The photo serves as an example image. You will receive a specimen of comparable quality.
