"Freiberg Geologist's and Mirror Compasses" facilitate the quick reading of 'strike and dip' and of 'direction of dip' and 'dip angle', respectively, of elements of the area. The quick reading of strike and plunge of linear elements is possible in one operation.

This compass encorporates the same basic features as the "geologist's Compass I 2" and in addition is fitted with a collimator sighting attachment, which is useful for any inclined aimings at terrain spots and for the direct combination of inclination and direction measurement. There is also a pole tripod attachment included.
